Make my first payment (binder payment)

Congrats on your new health plan! If you didn’t already make a payment when you initially applied, you’ll need to make your payment in full before your coverage can start. 

As long as you’re a primary member on the plan, you can make your first payment by phone or online, anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You can pay with:

  • Credit card
  • Debit card 
  • Electronic funds transfer (EFT)

To make your payment by phone, call us at 800-352-2583 and say "Make a Payment.”

To make your payment online, visit www.floridablue.com/paynow

You can also log into your account to make your first payment.  

Once you’re logged in to your member account, select the option ‘Make a Payment’ and then follow the prompts.

You’ll need your:

  • Member number
  • Social Security number
  • ZIP Code
  • Birthdate
  • Bank or credit card information

After you’ve put in your information and successfully submitted your payment, you’ll see the Payment Confirmation screen which you can print, download as a PDF, or even have sent to you via text message or email. 

Your first payment is now complete! 

Pay my monthly premium

You have several options to make your monthly payment as convenient and hassle-free as possible. 

 

Online and Mobile App

Log in to your Florida Blue member account online or via our mobile app to make a one-time payment—or set up automatic payments and have one less thing on your mind every month.

By Phone

Pay anytime using the automated system by calling 1-800-352-2583 and saying, "Make a Payment.”

By Mail

Mail a check, cashier’s check, or money order along with your payment stub to the address on your invoice. IMPORTANT: Write your member ID number in the check’s memo line.

Your Bank’s Bill Pay System

Be sure to put your member ID number in as the account number. Payments should be mailed to the address on your invoice.

In Person at a Retail Location

To make a payment at your local Family Dollar®, Dollar General®, Navarro Discount Pharmacy® or CVS/pharmacy® (except Target locations), you will need to take the barcode from your invoice.

Important information about in-person payments

  • If you have a temporary plan, you cannot pay at retail locations.
  • Associates will not be able to look up how much you owe, so be sure you check your member account for the amount due before you go.
  • You can make payments at CVS or Navarro Discount Pharmacy using cash, credit card, or debit card. You can pay at Dollar General using cash or debit card. (No credit cards.) You can pay at Family Dollar with cash only.
  • These retail locations can accept payments of up to $999 per policy per 24 hours, and Dollar General will have to swipe your card twice if you’re paying more than $500.

Cash Payments

For cash payments, be sure take the barcode that’s on your invoice and use the company/biller name “Florida Blue Payment Center.” Note that these vendors may charge a fee to process your payment.

 

Make a premium payment for someone else (guest payment)
