Make my first payment (binder)
Thanks for choosing Florida Blue! If you haven't already, you can make the first payment on your new policy here (also called a binder payment). Once you make the full payment, your policy will be ready to use on your start date!
You'll need one of the following to make a payment:
- Your application ID
- Your Marketplace application ID
- Your member ID number and zip code (see your binder acknowledgement email/letter for your member ID number)
- Your last name, birth date, and zip code
You can pay with:
- Credit / debit card
- Checking or savings account
You can make a payment easily online anytime—24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
After making your payment, you'll get a confirmation. You can print, download, or get your payment confirmation sent to you by text message or email.
If you'd like to pay by phone instead, please call us at 1-800-352-2583 and say, make a payment.
Once you've made a payment, you'll be able to register for an online member account.

Pay online or in the Florida Blue app
Log in to your Florida Blue member account or use our mobile app to make a one-time payment. You can also set up automatic payments to have one less thing on your mind every month!
Pay by phone
Pay anytime with our automated system: Call 1-800-352-2583 and say, make a payment.
Pay by mail
"Mail a check, cashier’s check, or money order, along with your payment stub, to the address on your invoice.
IMPORTANT: Write your member ID number in the check’s memo line."
Pay with your bank's bill pay option
Be sure to enter your member ID number as the account number. Payments should be mailed to the address on your invoice.
Pay in person at a Florida Blue Center or retail store
You'll need to bring the barcode from your invoice to make payments at your local Florida Blue Center, Family Dollar®, Dollar General®, Navarro Discount Pharmacy® or CVS/pharmacy® (except Target locations).
Important information about in-person payments
Be prepared: Please check your member account to confirm the amount due before visiting a retail location, as store associates won't have access to your information.
If you have a temporary plan: Retail locations can't accept payments for your plan. Please pay online, by phone, or by mail.
Making cash payments: Be sure to bring the barcode from your invoice and select Florida Blue Payment Center as the company/biller name. Please note that vendors may charge a convenience fee for processing your payment.
You can make payments at the following locations:
- CVS and Navarro Discount Pharmacy: Accepts cash, credit card, and debit card
- Florida Blue Center: Accepts credit and debit card (no cash)
- Dollar General: Accepts cash and debit card (no credit cards)
- Family Dollar: Accepts cash only
Please note that retail locations can process payments up to $999 per policy per 24-hour period. If you're paying more than $500 at Dollar General, you'll need to have your card swiped twice.
